Wick for kerosene lamp 10″

10”’ Cotton round burner wick with good absorbency.

Standard dimensions for kerosene lamps were established in the mid-19th century and were based on the size of the kerosene burner. Measurements are given in lines and line measurements are counted in 1/12 inch. Thus, 1 line equals 1/12″ (inch). The line number is determined in proportion to the brightness of the lamp and the higher the line number the higher the luminous intensity.

This wick fits our large traditional kerosene lamp, article number 3041-42. You can find it under Related Products.

Candles 4-pack 40 cm

Making candles is an ancient craft. Stockholm’s candle workshop on Södermalm, in Per-Anders Fogelström’s neighborhood and where Liljeholmens Ljusfabrik was once located, carries on the tradition. Great emphasis is placed on making the candles feel genuine. When the candle mass is hot, the antique candles are molded and shaped by hand. The long burning time and the beautiful flame are a result of the right mixture of stearin, paraffin, wax and wick yarn.

4-pack. Stearin, paraffin, wax and wick yarn. Length 40cm.
