Simple traditional ceiling and wall luminaire for dry indoor spaces, such as attics, basements and toilets. Base of white glazed porcelain, diffuser of clear glass, blown into shape. Intended for clear light source.

The lamp is S-marked. IP20.

Cord holder for cobbler’s lamp. Lamp holder in unpainted polished brass with ceramic base. A specially made cord relief relieves the cord so that it does not carry the entire weight of the luminaire.

The cobbler’s lamp was one of the first indoor electric light fixtures.

The model became common as ceiling lighting in all rooms in simpler homes from the 1910s onwards, however in wealthier environments it became the standard luminaire for less lavish rooms, such as hallways, kitchens and maids’ rooms.

The lamp provides nice and soft spot lighting and is suitable for smaller spaces such as windows.

All sheet metal parts are made of heavy, polished, unlacquered brass. The screen is made of opal glass.

A specially designed cable strain relief relieves the cable so that it does not carry the entire weight of the luminaire. A porcelain ceiling bracket with a wooden base plate is available as an optional accessory for a contemporary ceiling connection.
