In the side of the bottom there is an opening for cable outlet for surface-mounted electrical wiring, but the outlet can also be mounted for recessed wall outlet in combination with one of Fontini’s base plates.
For surface mounting on wood paneling or other flammable material, an insulating plastic base plate can be used as extra fire protection.
The outlet is grounded and has a pin protection.
