The elevator lamp is an evolved cobbler’s lamp, intended to hang above a table or workplace. The lamp was common both as a kitchen lamp and as an office luminaire, and was also used in other workplaces with a requirement for more concentrated light. The lifting device with its easy-rolling porcelain wheels makes the lamp adjustable in height. <\/p>\n
A specially designed brass cable strain relief relieves the cable from carrying the full weight of the luminaire. The deep, white glass shade provides a combination of general and concentrated light, without glare. Our lamp is a replica of an original luminaire. The shade holder, with its special rope bar decoration in relief, is handmade to match the high quality of the original lamp. <\/p>\n
The lamp is supplied with one and a half meters of three-strand twisted black textile cord. All metal parts are made of solid, polished, unlacquered brass. Length 88-150cm, diameter shade 25cm. <\/p>\n
