The weaving inverts the pattern and colors so that the blanket becomes reversible. The wool blanket is inspired by our own wallpaper N\u00e4stg\u00e5rds, adapted by designer Kerstin Landstr\u00f6m. The pattern is typical of the second half of the 19th century with an elegant single-color medallion pattern.   <\/p>\n<p>The story behind our beautiful original N\u00e4stg\u00e5rds wallpaper begins with a piece of wallpaper we found hidden under several layers of cardboard and wallpaper. Carefully, the layers of wallpaper were brought out one by one and finally there was a large enough piece to see the entire pattern. The wallpaper pattern was drawn after its original and reprinted in three colors, blue, red and brown on a beige background.  <\/p>\n<p>Wool is naturally dirt-repellent and often does not need to be washed. Instead, air the blanket continuously.
