Close or screw the inner windows so that the sashes do not sag. Cut or tear the window strip to the appropriate length. Then put the strip in a bucket of cold water. Leave it for a few seconds to a minute. Pick up the strip and remove the excess water between your fingers. Press the strip firmly and straighten it using a cloth or sponge, for example.
