Classic surface-mounted electrical outlet in white porcelain with plastic insert in a design that was common in Europe during the first half of the 20th century.
In the side of the base there is an opening for a cable outlet for surface-mounted electrical wiring, but the socket can also be mounted for a recessed wall box in combination with one of Fontini’s base plates.
For surface mounting on wood paneling or other flammable material, an insulating plastic base plate can be used as additional fire protection.
The socket outlet is earthed and has a pin protection.
