Hand-blown, green small lampshade in opal glass for cobbler lamps, elevator lamps, wall lamps, etc. The shade is deep and prevents the bulb from glaring, which is common in flat shades.

The light weight makes the shade particularly suitable for elevator lamps.

The cobbler’s lamp was one of the first indoor electric light fixtures.

The model became common as ceiling lighting in all rooms in simpler homes from the 1910s onwards, however in wealthier environments it became the standard luminaire for less lavish rooms, such as hallways, kitchens and maids’ rooms.

The lamp provides nice and soft spot lighting and is suitable for smaller spaces such as windows.

All metal parts are made of heavy, polished, unlacquered brass. The shade is green with white inside and is made of hand-blown opal glass.

A specially designed cable strain relief relieves the cable so that it does not carry the entire weight of the luminaire. As an extra accessory, for a contemporary ceiling connection, a porcelain ceiling bracket with a wooden base plate is available, both with and without grooves.
