This switch has a so-called crown function, which means that it is used to control two separate light sources. The different positions of the knob make it possible to choose whether both light sources should be lit at the same time or only one.

Four positions of the knob:
1. Both light sources off
2. Light source A on
3. Both light sources on
4. Light source B on

Classic recessed switch in black porcelain without knob and frame in a design that was common in Europe in the first half of the 20th century.

This switch has a so-called crown function, which means that it is used to control two separate light sources. The different positions of the knob make it possible to choose whether both light sources should be lit at the same time or only one.
