Threaded clear glass shades for outdoor lamps, porcelain lamps etc. Blown in shape, which gives a characteristic seam in the glass and sometimes unevenness, varying glass thickness and decorative ripples. Fits most old threads and gives a sparkling, clean light, especially in combination with clear bulbs.
Because our glass globes are mouth-blown, they are also more fragile than machine-cast glass globes. Therefore, it is important to handle them carefully when screwing them onto the luminaires. The domes are of the highest quality, but a mouth-blown product is more fragile and should therefore be handled accordingly. The same applies to the mouth-blown glass for windows. When the glass cup is screwed to the bottom, the cup should not turn, i.e. it should not be screwed until it is rock solid because then you risk the glass cup breaking off at the upper edge of the thread.

Very solid handmade copy of a typical outdoor lamp from the early 1900s from the mill in Berg, Torsåker. The model is common throughout the country.
The lamp differs from “Delsbo” by the blade on the lamp arm.
Sand-cast wall bracket, shade holder and frame are painted with black oil paint. Sturdy, white enamel shade with blue border. Hand-blown glass cup.
