Classic surface-mounted electrical outlet in black porcelain with plastic insert in a design that was common in Europe during the first half of the 20th century.
In the side of the bottom there is an opening for cable outlet for surface-mounted electrical wiring, but the outlet can also be mounted for recessed wall outlet in combination with one of Fontini’s base plates.
When surface-mounted on wood paneling or other flammable material, an insulating plastic base plate should be used as extra fire protection.
The outlet is grounded and has a pin protection.
